Introductions

Hi!

A right-wing Mennonite? Are you reading that correctly. Yes, even though most of my brethren are very a-political, I am much more activist. Sure, I believe that our true home is in heaven, and we are just visitors in this world, but while here, I feel that it is our job to be involved in the governing of our nations. Otherwise, we surrender that job to the humanists, atheists, and others with a decidedly anti-Christian and often, anti-morality worldview. The idea of separation of church and state does not mean we remove faith based ideals from the public sector, but rather, that the government does not interfere with any faiths, or promote one over another officially.

Anyway, I'll be posting on various subjects from my perspective both as a Mennonite and as a conservative. Stay tuned.
